Welp because it's such a beautiful day down here in Punta Arenas, i figured i should get some fresh air after lunch. And i decided to do so by taking a quick stroll down by the seaside. Or maybe straitside is more accurate? Regardless, there wasn't too much to see, but it was nice to stretch my legs and enjoy the sea breeze. Saw a boat. Saw some clouds. Saw some people.
Down by the seaside. Saw the boats gone sailing. Can the people hear what the little fish are saying? Oh, oh the people turned away. The people turned away...
Hmmmm - Robert Plant? Love the photo. I wonder if you are a little bored?
ReplyDeleteZeppelin is correct.
ReplyDeleteAnd the photo was taken shortly before the start of a pretty intense cloud bursting session. So that photograph is the only evidence of that clouds former actuality. I mean there's nothing left of it. At all. It's gone from this world forever. It's not even somewhere else in the water cycle. It's just gone. Removed from the face of the earth. And such is the consequence of cloud bursting. But the exile of the cloud from the earth's energy continuum was merely a means to an end, and certainly not an ends in and of itself. But the goal i was aiming for was more of a jedi mental mind workout of sorts. A cerebral calisthenics, if you will. And i'm always trying to keep the ol' jedi mind sharp, you know. And if it comes down to cloud bursting, so be it.
Bored? Hardly. I mean you be the judge. But i still say hardly.
Wow, Ben... your analysis there made my head spin! Or.. maybe that's just what reading it at midnight will do ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou're so cerebral. Love you, brother!
The one boat scene reminds of an old movie: "Old man and the sea" written by Hemmingway with Spencer Tracy.
